DTM Clearance Services – Booking Policy

Effective from: June 15th 2025

DTM Clearance Services provides reliable and professional solutions for domestic and light commercial work, including house clearances, HIAB lifting, small-scale demolition, and skip bag removals. This Booking Policy outlines how we manage appointments, payments, and what clients can expect before and during service.

Once availability is confirmed, a Booking Reference will be issued.

No booking is final until written confirmation has been provided by our team.

2. Deposits & Payment

• A 25% deposit may be required for HIAB or demolition work.

• House clearances and skip bag collections are typically pay-on-completion unless agreed otherwise.

• Accepted payment methods: cash, card, bank transfer, or invoice (for approved account holders).

3. Arrival & Time Slots

• We offer AM or PM slots, or a 1-hour estimated arrival window.

• If delays occur (e.g. traffic or access issues), we will notify you promptly.

4. Site Access & Safety

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing clear access to the work area

• Ensuring suitable parking or loading space (especially for HIAB vehicles)

• Ensuring water and electricity are available if needed (e.g. demolition)

• Informing us of any known risks, hazards, or restrictions in advance

5. Cancellations & Amendments

• Bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a £50 late cancellation fee or forfeiture of deposit.

• If we arrive but are unable to complete the job due to site issues or incomplete information, an aborted visit fee of £75 may apply.

6. Waste Restrictions

• Additional charges apply for:

• Fridges, freezers, mattresses, tyres, asbestos, chemicals, or electrical waste

• Hazardous or restricted items not disclosed in advance may result in job refusal or re-pricing.

7. Demolition Work – Special Conditions

• All demolition includes dismantling and waste removal unless otherwise agreed.

• You must confirm that all utility services (gas, electric, water) are safely disconnected.

• Unsafe or unfit site conditions may cause delay or cancellation of the job.

8. Insurance & Liability

• We are fully insured for all services we provide.

• We accept no liability for items not clearly marked or confirmed for disposal.
